Crystal O'Connor
Groomer
Hello there. I'm Crystal O'Connor. I am a Southern Utah native. I grew up front and center in the dog world. My Mother owned and ran K-9 College training and a dog boarding facility. I spent my youth assisting in obedience classes and attending dog shows. My love for dogs and cats has brought me to my dream career. I am the salon manager and I've been with La De Paws since 2008. With over 17 years grooming experience I am a certified and award winning groomer of both dogs and cats. I have competed in grooming competitions and have 1st place awards. I specialize in hand scissoring, hand stripping, terrier patterns and more. With over 50,000 grooms under my belt, there's no breed or cut out of my realm. I'm a firm believer that all animals feel our energy. It is my utmost goal to provide every animal in my care with love and kindness and above all patience. Ensuring the best experience for your beloved pet. I absolutely love all fur babies and can't wait to meet and adore your furry friend.

We Care.
We care about every dog. Not just every dog we groom, every dog we meet or hear stories about or see pictures of.
We invest in our craft.
We invest time, heart, money, sweat tears into grooming. It is our passion and we invest all of ourselves into it.
We Cry.
We cry when we help a matted dog. We cry when your pets get older and when they pass on. We fall in love with your pets and they find a special place in our hearts.
We notice things.
We notice your dog's new aches and pains and lumps and bumps, weight-loss and weight-gain, labored breathing, allergies and so on. We notice things you may not, because it is a gradual change that may not be obvious. Most groomers have saved a life by noticing a change and letting you know.
A good groomer is hard to find, and will become an important part of your pet's family.
When you book a grooming appointment. You aren't just paying for hours of their time, there is so much more invested in your groomer.
1,000s of hours of training in school or
apprenticeship. Countless books they've read about dog behavior, grooming & breeds. The experts they've learned from.
Years of life experience in practical application. $1,000s of dollars In equipment, clippers, blades, scissors & maintenance of those tools. Continuing education in grooming videos & seminars.
The physical toll it takes on the body, between muscle aches, carpel tunnel, hearing loss and being bitten.
If you have a good groomer, remember to thank them, chances are they don't hear it enough.
